Perhaps having Sedona as a nearby elopement destination can be a good and bad thing. For Phoenix-area dentist Dan and his busy life, finding the time to wed had to sync up with his equally busy bride-to-be, Christie.

He told me from the get-go that many things had to align the weekend of the elopement. Between commitments and responsibilities in Phoenix, and possibly an unexpected return home to pick up a certain license, the ultimate alignment of circumstances proved to be the most blessed.

Just as we positioned ourselves to begin the ceremony, the remnants of an overnight rain shower finally burned off. It might as well have been a cue at a stage show or film set. Awash in glorious midday sunlight, Dan and Christie got their lines right on the first take!
